Your Moment to Shine: New campaign helps businesses and charities win awards for doing good

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Your Moment to Shine, a campaign dedicated to helping UK businesses, charities and SMEs showcase their social impact and win awards.

Winning awards can be a game-changer for organisations, offering more than just a trophy. It creates ongoing publicity, strengthens trust with funders and partners, and opens doors to new opportunities. However, many organisations struggle to communicate their achievements effectively in award submissions.

Helping organisations gain recognition for their values-led work is a key part of the work we do. Drawing on years of award-winning experience, we provide practical, tailored advice on choosing the right awards, meeting entry criteria, telling compelling stories with data, and maximising the benefits of winning.

Our founder Jessica Pilkington has herself been recognised as Businessperson of the Year at both the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and SME Northamptonshire awards.

Recent client successes include Northampton based Daniel Granger Hairdressing, which won gold at last year’s NNBN awards, alongside Community Law who won Charity of the Year,  and Northamptonshire Sport which took home Community Project of the Year in the Northampton Business Excellence Awards.

An award win is a strategic asset that generates powerful, ongoing PR, builds lasting trust with customers, funders and stakeholders, and opens doors to new opportunities. Yet many miss out because their submissions don’t fully communicate the true value and impact of their work – particularly the good they do in their communities and for their people.
