08 Mar Clients Already Adapting, Recovering and Rebuilding in 2021
To help businesses and organisations that are looking to move forward from the negative impacts of the pandemic, we launched a package of support to provide short-term focused PR & Communications activity that was specifically targeted at helping companies Adapt, Recover and Rebuild.
For so many businesses this was exactly the support they needed and we’re delighted to share with you some of the fantastic success stories to date following this dedicated support. Over the coming months we’ll be adding lots of case studies to our website, but here is a summary of some of the successes so far.
Clearhead
This Luton based global content agency came to us with ambitious plans and targets. They commissioned an ‘Adapt, Recover, Rebuild’ package to help boost their PR profile and nurture new contacts. The Clearhead team requested media coverage in target publications and support with positioning their talented team as thought leaders within their industry. They were confident the press coverage would help them secure new leads and new clients – and they were right. Just one of the things we were able to help them with was getting coverage in the highly respected outlet FE News which swiftly prompted enquiries from UK colleges. By understanding what they wanted to achieve and having clear objectives, we were able to support them in exactly the right way.
The Lewis Foundation
The duo behind this award winning cancer support charity used the latest Covid lockdown to focus on planning for the future. Lorraine and Lee Lewis, who launched their charity in April 2016, initially supported patients in just one Northampton hospital, but have grown so much they are now supporting 10 hospitals across a range of areas. Their long-term aim is to support more patients in more hospitals than ever before, but to achieve this they recognised a need for a more strategic approach to growth and development. This was when they approached Pilkington Communications. Pilkington Communications firstly helped them build a communications strategy to raise the charity’s profile, and then following that secured masses of publicity, including TV interviews. The outcome has attracted more funding, has potentially reduced core costs, and ultimately will help more people for many years to come.
Delapré Abbey
Delapré Abbey first commissioned Pilkington Communications in May 2020 to design and run its Wedding with Thanks campaign – a competition designed to recognise the incredible dedication of key and essential workers during the first lockdown. More than 300 couples entered, with one couple (a police officer and nurse) winning the ultimate prize – a wedding and all the trimmings.
This was a hugely successful campaign and it was even nominated as Marketing Campaign of the Year in the All Things Business Northampton Excellence Awards 2021. Because of this, the Abbey then further commissioned an Adapt, Recover, Rebuild package with Pilkington Communications to support the team with its PR and strategic communications. The work is to support the Abbey with its long-term goals and that starts with a focus on strategy, and securing coverage in key publications about the Abbey’s new business plan and projects that will support the Trust’s vision around Culture, Wellbeing and Environment.
If you’re looking for a more strategic approach to your PR & Communications and you’re ready to Adapt, Recover and Rebuild in 2021, please get in touch. We’re looking forward to starting the journey to success with you.
